The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for an expert in video encoding and streaming to join the team. • 3+ years of experience across the following:
• Coding skills in C++ and Python
• Familiarity With Video Codecs (H.264/HEVC/AV1)
• Subjective and Objective Video Quality Metrics
• Hands on experience with tuning video encoding parameters to balance bitrate, performance and quality
• Experience building Real-Time Video Quality Measurement Tools
• Understanding of HLS Media Streaming would be a Plus

• Ability to work in multi-functional teams
• Typescript is a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
