I&D Signature Programs & Business Initiatives Lead

This role is an opportunity to support Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) signature programs and initiatives for a subset of Services, Including Music. You will provide counsel and subject matter expertise in support of the broader I&D strategy and partner with the larger I&D team to lead a critical and strategic imperative for the company - driving the integration of inclusion through our product and services portfolio.

Description

You will be a key I&D strategist, partner, and voice, working in collaboration across the Subset of Services and in collaboration with I&D and the People team ecosystem to build and integrate a comprehensive inclusive framework that amplifies business priorities. In partnership with the respective functional teams, this role is responsible for the integration and implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and initiatives that align with Apple's broader I&D strategy. Strategic Partnership on Signature Programs & Inclusion Initiatives Partner with leaders to enable execution of signature programs and high-priority "big bets," ensuring inclusive outcomes are reflected from design through delivery. Collaborate closely with initiative leads to align on goals, elevate risks, manage dependencies, and bring clarity to cross-functional execution. Support the design and development of internal and external inclusion-focused programs that educate, inspire, and operationalize inclusive service delivery across teams as directed by the Apple I&D team. Support the implementation of I&D solutions, monitor progress, and provide advice to address unique leadership and business needs. Establish relationships, incorporate key partners and gain program & initiative alignment. Deliver integrated solutions, ensuring consistency, scale, and implementation of programs and initiatives. Understand the business model across the variety of teams and work to identify measurable solutions for leadership. Partnership Across I&D Domains & Site-Level Engagement Work closely with enterprise I&D partners, regional/site teams, and business units to ensure inclusive services are well-integrated into: Internal programming Heritage month celebrations Signature internal and external events Community and customer-facing activations Provide inclusive consultation and planning support for on-site experiences, ensuring alignment with both global strategy and local impact. Partner with the People team to ensure alignment and integration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 to 10+ years of experience creating inclusion & diversity programs in customer-facing industries in technology, services, media, music and entertainment.
  • Proven ability to cascade key corporate I&D information to stakeholders by influencing business leaders coming from a variety of disciplines and seniority levels.
  • 7 to 10+ years proven cross-functional experience working with partners in I&D, product, design, marketing, editorial, events, and customer experience.
  • Proven understanding of how inclusive services and experiences show up across channels, campaigns, and customer touch points.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and influence others, with capacity to adapt style based on the audience and their needs.
  • 7 to 10+ years developing I&D project plans and timelines, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, and executing against those plans.
  • Highly collaborative, organized and strategic thinker with outstanding communications.
  • Track record of building effective business partnerships in a consultative model across all organizational levels and cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in being flexible and adaptable according to the changing needs and priorities of the organization.
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Skilled in partnering across global and local teams to deliver programs that balance strategic intent with on-the-ground relevance.
  • This is an onsite position and may have 15% + travel, both domestic and International.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, across multiple partners, while performing under pressure, and maintaining a high motivation as a self-starter.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability according to the changing needs and priorities of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly understand organizational needs and challenges and develop tailored programs accordingly.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $153,000 and $293,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
