In this highly visible and cross-functional role, your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with internal hardware design teams and the broader software organization to enable co-development and integration. - Defining and evolving an IP-XACT-compatible register description format. - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and intelligent HW/SW interface tools and infrastructure. - Automating data exchange pipelines to enhance collaboration across Apple

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in C++ and Python
- Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, version control, CI integration)
- Experience with hardware development fundamentals and chip design concepts
- Minimum BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IP-XACT, SystemRDL, or other hardware register description standards
- Comfortable developing in macOS and Linux environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across hardware and software teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical and architectural concepts
- Understanding of RTL development and design verification methodologies
