Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop scalable and automated HR data solutions to inform organizational strategies and remedial actions. Develop and manage metrics, dashboards, and reports to track employee engagement, retention, and performance data. Clean and prepare data for analysis, as well as analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership by interpreting data and making data-driven decisions. Meet with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop strategies to meet those objectives. Create and present presentations and reports to senior leadership. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and performance. Create automation scripts to reduce mundane, repetitive tasks. Ensure depth of understanding of organizations supported, including key functions and processes. Support and work with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiatives. Proactively engage with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, organization design and structure. Partner with leadership to design and deliver appropriate talent planning activities that will identify talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans. Focus efforts on accessing development needs, and promoting a learning environment which supports on-the-job opportunities. Leverage coaching skills to assist employees and managers through development and performance matters. Partner to drive diversity initiatives with consideration for talent movement, I&D dashboards, recruiting and representation as well as targeted development initiatives. Collaborate to develop I&D action plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Advise and support managers on local and global compensation initiatives. Competence in interpreting internal compensation framework and external market survey data. Identifying emerging trends. Develop and work on special and cross-functional projects as identified. Understand the training/development needs of organization and act as liaison with Apple University to deliver or secure appropriate training to the organization. Author and deliver curriculum for site- and division-specific brown bags and training. Use data to develop the People agenda. Track and report staffing, retention, attrition, and other necessary data to line management; recommend programs and/or enhancements as necessary. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,342 - $201,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Conducting Statistical analysis to identify patterns in employee data. Conduct correlation analysis to identify relationships among employee attributes. Evaluate and translate machine
  • learning outputs actionable processes.
  • Developing custom scripts in Python/R to automate data cleaning and preprocessing tasks, implement data pipelines, automate APIs to retrieve of data and incorporate into internal
  • workflows. Create automated alerts and notifications using R/Python scripts to flag anomalies.
  • Developing Talent Management Strategies to enable long term talent development, retention, and succession.
  • Driving organizational design and development, such as building and implementing partnerships, understanding business goals, and engaging with business leaders on people strategy,
  • workforce planning, and organization structure.
  • Conducting compensation planning, benefits initiatives, and assisting with leaves, disabilities, and worker's compensation benefits.
  • Providing talent and performance management, such as designing and delivering talent planning activities to identify talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans.
  • Coaching, including reinforcing the company culture with leaders and employees and partnering with business leaders to develop programs and initiatives.
  • Managing employee relations, including advising on company policies and procedures, and managing misconduct, investigations, terminations, review of appealed terminations,
  • reorganizations, and EEOC claims.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Utilizing SQL to design and implement a relational database schema to store HR data, integrate HR data from multiple sources and to extract HR data.
  • Utilizing Django to build internal applications and streamline the administration processes.
