Key Qualifications

  • Strong software development skills, with a proficiency in Python required
  • Demonstrated skill and experience with parallel computing systems such as PySpark and SparkSQL
  • Familiarity working with systems such as blob storage, elastic compute and virtual instances
  • Experience with tools such as Git, Docker, Jupyter notebooks, Linux command line; technologies such as Delta Lake, AWS, iOS; and familiarity with Scala are all a benefit.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycles
  • Experience working in organizations processes for continuous integration, defect tracking, code reviews, & quality assurance.
  • Pro-active communicator and collaborator working with a multi-functional, distributed teams

Description

Your work will directly impact the development of health-related features in Apple products. The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience solving tough problems with outstanding data streams using various tools and strategies including parallel computing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user study problems and advise decision-making through data analysis. This role will focus on the implementation of data information solutions to improve the usability of our platform for large scale user studies that gather critical data to the design and qualify Apple's health software products.

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
