We are seeking a curious and self-driven server software engineer to join Apple's Health team to contribute to efforts supporting Apple's health research platform and tools. Our work helps to advance health research and supports the next generation of innovation in our Health products. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to enable teams across the company to conduct health research and ensure that research participant data is safe, private, and secure.
Description
Our team needs your help shaping the next generation of health-related mobile experiences by working on state-of-the-art technologies to seamlessly integrate and understand clinical and health related data to spark change. As a Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunities to work with world class physicians, designers, and engineers to help innovate in the healthcare space in ways that only Apple can. As a member of the team you'll have the opportunity to expand the functionality of the Health App, the HealthKit framework, and support the broader health-related efforts at Apple.
Minimum Qualifications
- iOS development experience
- Experience with both Objective C & Swift
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit
- Proven software architecture experience
- Bachelors degree in related field
Preferred Qualifications
- An enthusiasm for user-focused design and shipping high-quality technology.
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple.
- A passion for health and health-related technology is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
