Description

This is an exciting Hardware Design engineer opportunity, that will involve designing elements that go into an iPhone hardware and see it through volume production. You will work with multi-functional teams to realize next generations of iPhone. The scope of work includes design, integration, and validation of rigid boards, printed flexible circuits, and overall system-level solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You will also be involved in NPI line bring up and debug manufacturing issues. There will be opportunities for international travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals including analog and digital design principles, high speed design, signal integrity, power design, hardware bringup and debug
  • Schematic Capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Hands on experience with hardware design and bringup is preferred (volume production experience is not a must)
  • Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug hardware issues
  • Strong desire and proactive attitude to dive deep into system level topics
  • Exposure to solving unwanted coupling and interference between subsystems is a plus
  • Use of scripting languages to assist with hardware development
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
