Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Oversee the digital and power management domain of all wireless chipset in Apple products from concepts to product announcement. Work with world-class architects and IC designers on the next-gen chipset's Power/Digital/Clock management. Drive schematics/layout/bring-up of both development and form factor hardware. Debug hardware/software/co-existence issues that are often seen only by the scale and volume of an Apple product. Perform signal and power integrity simulation prior to design release. Measure cellular platform power to gauge its performance. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams (Apple SoC, battery, sensors, iOS, etc...). Drive full validation plan of the baseband hardware circuit. Collaborate with OEM and solve DFM issue facing the hardware. Collaborate with OEM and solve reliability issue facing the hardware. International Travel Required 15%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $162,589 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Experience with power supply design such as LDO and SMPS.
- Experience with high-speed digital interface routing such as PCle/USB.
- Experience with designing for AC-PDN and DCR constrain.
- Experience with embedded systems involving SoC, memory, and power management.
- Experience with design in highly space and power-constrained HW.
- Exposure to SW and FW operation with HW.
- Experience with logical HW debug methodology.
- Experience in cross-functional debugging and bring-up environment.
