Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Define requirements into electrical architectures, component requirements, circuit design specifications, and verify/validate designs at multiple levels and execute design of electronic embedded circuitry. Lead electronic development improvement and failure analysis. Responsible for BMS circuitry maturation throughout the lifecycle. Work closely with cross-functional team members, such as safety, systems, mechanical, software, controls, test, and integration engineers. Lead associated test verification and validation activities at the component and board levels, including specifying test cases and acceptance criteria for functional circuit testing and collaborating on specialized equipment to execute those tests. Capable of working on design and execution throughout the lifecycle. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 - $248,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Formal circuit analyses including FIT, WCCA, FMEA for analog and digital circuits
  • Perform failure analysis and corrective actions; lead root-cause and 5/8D processes
  • DFMEA analysis using IQRM tool
  • Electrical verification and debugging using digital oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply and signal generator
  • Low voltage and high voltage mix circuit design (up to 1500 volts)
  • Electrical Simulations using LTSPICE and ORCAD
