We are seeking a motivated and highly technical Game Performance Automation Engineer to design, build, and enhance automation frameworks that ensure exceptional gaming experiences across Apple's entire product ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can drive sophisticated automation projects independently, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving requirements. Responsibilities
- Own sophisticated automation projects.
- Support the entire program development cycle, from design concept through implementation.
- Research and implement key metrics critical to understanding performance bottlenecks.
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks, performance validation tools, and related infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Apple to understand and propose innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of directly related work experience can substitute for the education requirement
- Strong development skills in Swift, Python, Objective-C, C++ or similar languages
- Experience developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively.
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with performance testing.
- Experience with XCTest and Xcode.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
