FY26 Places Program Management and Operations (PMO) Program Manager Intern

We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. The Places Program Management and Operations (PMO) team is a cornerstone of strategic initiatives, dedicated to driving excellence and innovation across Places: collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and implement processes, enhance existing systems, and deliver solutions that will inspire and support the teams to seamlessly execute work; empowering them to work smarter, respond faster, and contribute more effectively to business outcomes.

Description

The PMO team has opportunities for students who have a love of learning, exceptional collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication prowess. This internship provides an opportunity to support the management and execution of cross-functional programs under the guidance of experienced program managers. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful projects tied to the organization's strategic initiatives; assisting with program planning, tracking deliverables, and facilitating communication to ensure successful outcomes that support the team to deliver and maintain the iconic brand image of one of the most valued assets, the Apple stores.

Responsibilities

  • Program and Project Support: Assist program managers with tasks including scheduling, documenting, and resource coordination to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Documentation: Maintain and organize program-related documentation, including meeting notes, project plans, and status reports to maintain alignment of the different teams around program goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, and assist with developing and implementing new tools and standard practices.
  • Data and Analysis: Support the development of strategic initiatives by performing data assessment and analysis. Help gather relevant metrics and develop dashboards and reports to track progress.
  • Executive Communication: Support in develop of presentations to convey program information to an audience consisting of managers, directors, key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics or other related fields of study
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to various audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with experience gathering data and drawing insights.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in a team-based environment and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
