Join the Apple Online Store Engineering team as a Frontend Engineer and contribute to building the next generation of e-commerce experiences! This is an opportunity to work on high-impact features and learn from expert engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Description

With joining our team, you'll contribute to the development of responsive, accessible, and performant web applications, Implement user interface features using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript ES6+, and build and maintain reusable UI components using frameworks such as React or Vue.js. We heavily collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers, participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing efforts to ensure code quality - assisting in diagnosing and resolving UI bugs and performance issues. While also applying Apple's standards for accessibility, performance, and design fidelity - and staying informed about modern web technologies and development practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous internships in frontend development.
  • Foundation of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, having familiarity with one or more frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Basic understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with version control systems like Git.
  • Exposure to RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
  • Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.) and package managers (npm, yarn).
  • Experience with a component-based architecture and design systems.
  • Understanding of web performance basics and mobile-first design.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Passion for creating clean, user-friendly interfaces.
