Description

Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join the Engineering Finance team to support the Software and AIML Engineering teams. You will be an integral part of the Engineering Finance team, working directly with engineering partners and cross functional Finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop insightful headcount analytics for business leadership
  • Build a scalable headcount tracking tool
  • Proactively identify needs to support business and recruiting team
  • Generate headcount reporting package
  • Manage headcount policy training and education across multiple platforms
  • Coordinate headcount arena seating audit to ensure alignment between internal teams
  • Help consolidate recurring financial planning deliverables such as Forecast, Plan and quarterly
  • Close submissions across multiple teams
  • Quarterly business review presentation support
  • Create key metrics package comparing across the team, e.g. headcount, cost, drivers, forecast accuracy
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and management of financial tools
  • Become the resident system expert, e.g. Excel, SAP, forecast tool, Essbase, Business Objects, Tableau
  • Analyze team processes from a continuous improvement perspective

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations Planning
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, and hands-on experience in Tableau
  • Interested in owning and improving processes
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and extremely organized
  • Tenacity in carrying through tasks and get things done
  • Desire to find creative and innovative solutions to automate repeating tasks
  • Driven to identify unmet needs and developing actionable solutions
  • Strong sense of team & relationships
  • Self-motivated and independent with the ability to deliver compelling solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis succinctly
  • Passion for automating and improving processes, systems, and tools
  • CPA

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,500 and $166,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
