Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Define Micro-architecture, write design specification, Perform implementation for Cellular Communication Application Specific IC targeted for iPhone application. Oversee definition, design, verification, and development of Apple's System-on-a-Chip (SoC) architecture to meet performance requirement for LTE and 5G communication standard. Perform all aspect of SoC design flow from high-level design, RTL (Register Transfer Level) implementation, synthesis, and physical design to synthesize actual circuit, optimize timing and work with physical design team to deliver mask level graphical data to foundry. Define chip level architecture, performing logic design and system simulation using Cadence or Synopsys simulator such as Xcelium. Perform Top level integration of connectivity, system data channel, peripherals, and ASC CPU IP. Work closely with physical design team to complete Graphic Data Stream. Develop and maintain methodology/flow/checks for given design. Work with multi-disciplinary groups such as Physical Design Team as well as Digital Verification Team to make sure designs are delivered on time and with highest quality by incorporating proper checks at every stage of the design process such as Synopsys Static clock domain crossing check. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $162,244 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills:
  • Using Verilog register transfer language, including experience describing behavior of target circuitry.
  • Using VLSI Circuit Design, including RTL language experience.
  • Experience in system data channel.
  • Using Unix
  • Utilizing Synopsys PrimeTime and experience in reporting timing performance of implemented circuit.
  • Experience using synchronous clock domain.
  • Utilizing Clock domain crossing check tool; and, experience with logic design related to synchronization.
  • Experience in synchronizing signals from source clock domain to destination clock domain.
