Description
As a Facilities Maintenance intern, you will be exposed to all aspects of maintaining Apple facilities. During the summer, you could: Collaborate with Apple's mechanical, electrical, and project management teams Learn maintenance and operations for mechanical systems, including chiller plants, HVAC, and compressed air systems Learn to manage an OpEx budget with the Facilities Maintenance Manager Coordinate repairs and system outages with business units Analyze the health of mechanical and electrical infrastructure to responsibly forecast funds needed for maintenance and repairs
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or construction management
- Graduating in December 2026 or later
- 3.0 minimum GPA
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with reading mechanical/electrical prints
- Prior internship(s), group or personal project exposure, T/A and/or work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Strong analytical thinking skills
