Join our team as the WiFi/Bluetooth Software engineering project manager (EPM) and be part of the next evolution of WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity features! Our EPMs are the backbone of the Software Engineering organization with individual responsibilities that vary depending on project phase, scope, and features in development. You'll have an opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic and well-rounded team as we influence, plan, execute and close our regular releases. The successful candidate will have grounding in technology, excellent communication skills, a solid set of core EPM execution skills, a passion for customer experience and a profound interest in delivering great software. This role includes working with a large cross-functional engineering team to define, schedule, track and communicate status of projects. Facilitating communication among various stake-holders is essential, from execs to individual development and QA engineers.

Description

Work closely with our connectivity development and QA teams to define new features, manage a diverse portfolio of deliverables, and oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition. Understand new technology and new hardware as it comes together, and track / facilitate cross functional tasks and deliverables to achieve on-time results with high quality. Facilitating communication between cross-functional groups is critical. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to work cross functionally with other organizations. Communication of status and risks to all levels of management is an expectation. Understanding of WiFi &Bluetooth or related radio technologies is a plus, but quick learners who build strong relationships will have no trouble contributing even if this is a new space for you.

Education & Experience

BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
