Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Partner with Marketing and business partnership teams to create a SDK development roadmap for a strategic sub-set of visionOS developers. Define and prioritize features for releases while partnering with engineering leaders. Drive work breakdown, estimation, scheduling, and execution tracking. Lead a large cross-organizational project team to understand technical dependencies and integration points, critical paths across multiple features, by identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans. Produce concise and effective status reporting on program, as well as drive leadership presentations. Coordinate between QA and engineering to understand quality results, summarize impact of issues, drive prioritization and resolve issues to ship novel software. Lead projects through the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery. Define, schedule, prioritize, track, proactively manage and communicate status of multiple projects at large. Lead day-to-day operations for the component engineering team and keep engineers unblocked. Facilitate gathering/presenting technical costs/benefits and tradeoffs to drive executive decision-making. Effectively influence and collaborate with technical leaders from other organizations to build cohesive products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 - $245,800/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Electronic Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience in each of the following skills is required:
  • Working with Software Development Kits (SDKs) to lead projects, including experience enabling third-party developers
  • Driving and delivering multiple project features, involving integration with different teams
  • Experience leading a large cross-functional project team.
  • Experience leading software development lifecycle projects from conception to delivery.
  • Creating and executing plans in ambiguous settings
  • Identifying and resolving project conflicts and inter-dependencies
  • Communicating and presenting across varied audiences, including high-level management
  • Understanding and communicating complex technical, logical, and process issues
  • Experience applying new technologies and driving prioritization
