Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build project plans and schedules for content delivery for software releases and updates, impacting the developers developing applications using Apple technologies and frameworks. Track and communicate project progress to ensure alignment with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and individual contributors. Provide weekly status reports on each project, project reviews and updates, replans, and utilize digital communications to keep department abreast of progress. Track and prioritize tasks across multiple product efforts, simultaneously. Use project planning tools, such as Wrike, Umbrella, Radar, and Tableau to track multiple deliverables/projects, and support 200 technologies and department initiatives, and perform daily management to keep up to date on each project's progress. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies, and project issues and avoid misalignment on deliverables and identify project risks, and determine mitigation plans to keep the project on track. Drive program meetings and events by creating the agenda, identifying, and assigning action items, communicating the department processes and updates. Build and maintain strong relationships in support of cross-functional work with multiple organizations across Apple, including engineering, developer relations, marketing, and Legal. Utilize tracking tools including OmniPlan, OmniGraffle, Numbers, Confluence, and web databases for project management and tracking purposes in order to maintain deadlines, deliverables, and milestones. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $162,019 - $205,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Utilizing program management tools, OmniPlan (or similar tools: Jira, Wrike, Microsoft Project or Agile Methodologies) to plan out milestone and events for developer documentation.
  • Experience in software release utilization, and experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in waterfall and agile development methodology, including experience creating a plan, and experience managing multiple deliverables and sprints
  • Facilitating core teams, project reviews, management status updates for requirements sessions, design meetings, and progress and status meetings
  • Experience in Object-oriented programming and scripting languages, SQL, use of macros, GitHub, Stash, and internal supporting systems.
  • Experience in Source Management Systems (Git)
  • Experience in releasing a consumer product
