Engineering Program Manager - Camera and Video Technologies
Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join the Video Engineering EPM team, where you'll drive next-generation camera and video sensing software technologies. In this role, you'll partner with camera firmware and driver teams on core camera and Image Signal Processor (ISP) technologies that power nearly all Apple products and services, including future innovations the world hasn't seen yet. We're looking for an exceptional Engineering Program Manager to deliver cutting-edge sensing software technologies spanning imaging, video, machine learning and artificial intelligence. You'll work at the intersection of custom hardware, data science and software engineering to create world-class Apple experiences. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in product development and program management, proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for shipping breakthrough technologies.
Description
In this role: You will drive large, multi-functional efforts to build technologies across Apple. Your ability to develop relationships and trust across system and module hardware and software teams will be key to your success. You will drive feature definition, implementation and testing while engaging with algorithm, SW engineering, ISP, embedded firmware, hardware, data, and testing teams. You will ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication. You will create development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain throughout execution. You are able to grasp complex technical topics, identify risks and mitigation paths. You are able to synthesize large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that enable decision making at the executive level.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related technical discipline
- 3+ years of technical program, product management, or a leadership role on a complex multi-disciplinary project
- Ability to drive planning, execution and productization across Machine Learning, Video, Camera Technologies, Image Signal Processors (ISP) and Embedded Firmware/Software technologies

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development
- M.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or PhD in technical field
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills; able to work with diverse teams and interact, influence, collaborate and negotiate effectively at all levels of management
- Self-motivated and proactive; understand and deals well with a fast paced environment while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
