In this group, you'll manage, organize, and support engineering development projects across Apple. You'll take ownership of projects and oversee every aspect from conception to production. You'll also establish relationships across the company, guiding the work as it's refined by your colleagues in engineering, marketing, and other teams. Apple is seeking an experienced program manager for the Services Engineering organization! The ASE Foundations PMO team is looking for passionate, motivated individuals looking to contribute to the extraordinary services and products we offer at Apple. Your work will focus on services, features, reliability, availability, scalability, and security while also defining and implementing standard processes that improve our operational efficiency. Partner with teams whose mission is to build, maintain, and improve the platform and product layer of Apple's most critical cloud services. Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project and/or program management experience
  • Familiar with SW delivery, testing, reliability, security, privacy, and other compliance review workflows
  • Collaborative engagement and technical empathy for engineers
  • Experience as a project lead, supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Shown ability to meet deadlines and schedule constraints
  • Outstanding presentation skills both in person and in multi-location meetings

Description

Autonomously lead projects of varying scale and complexity with cross-functional development and SRE teams with only consultative direction from leadership! Review business requirements, ensure clarity and establish expectations for services requested while developing and executing processes, frameworks, metrics, project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables and resources. Prioritize team activities and drive resolution of issues across all areas of the program while communicating status and issues to teams, leadership and other partners. Facilitate focused concise status and program operations. Advise and carry out risk assessment and mitigation plans as needed. Execution is critical so you will drive maturity programs with cross-functional organizations and teams while continuously working to improve the software development lifecycle process within the org. Represent the engineering teams with other internal and external organizations within Apple.

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
