The Apple Audio Products Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to help drive collaboration between cross-functional engineering teams for embedded firmware development and coordination of features with OS teams and HW engineering.

Description

Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager. This role will be instrumental in the development and delivery of Audio Products features. You will oversee the comprehensive execution of software and embedded firmware development plans throughout the product lifecycle and delivery phases. We are seeking an individual with a passion for excellence and the ability to swiftly adapt to changes. Strong communication skills are paramount, as you will interact with diverse teams, encompassing software engineering, hardware engineering, electrical engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and other resources both within and outside Apple. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and leadership of comprehensive project plans. You will identify and address conflicting motivations and priorities among multidisciplinary engineers to foster design convergence, schedule alignment, and strategic consensus. Furthermore, you will identify and drive program multi-functional dependencies between teams. Additionally, you will grasp complex technical concepts and abstract key issues and risks into a practical format suitable for executive management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus in achieving project deliverables
  • Ability to break down complexity and ambiguity into simple steps with clear milestones
  • Experience in shipping consumer products and leading them through the entire product life cycle
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse teams and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
