Description

The Product Operations team empowers Apple teams to execute at scale. We tackle complex organizational, financial, technical, and operational challenges, ensuring seamless execution and strategic alignment across the organization and company. As a Engineering Product Analyst, you will work closely with senior leaders in Engineering, Finance, Program Management Office, HR, Facilities, and Operations, shaping our financial strategy and driving efficiency. You will manage our finances with precision, drive plans that increase innovation, and increase the velocity of our results. You will provide actionable insights through business intelligence, KPIs, and financial controls. You are the kind of person who wants to understand how everything works, with a strong sense of ownership, and fantastic execution skills. You need to be the kind of person who can wear many hats and do whatever it takes to get the job done. - Lead the development of annual budgets that drive progress against our multi-year organizational strategy - Track and optimize spend against financial spend - Lead vendor and contractor management, including negotiations and strategic partnerships and initiatives - Develop business intelligence reports, KPIs and scorecards that track our investments and progress against our financial plans - Identify insights, key trends, risks and opportunities and present actionable insights to executive leadership - Create and enforce financial and operational policies - Facilitate quarterly reviews of spend with leadership, finance, and main stakeholders - Analyze all encompassing costs for across different products and verticals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, or as a product analyst in a technology company
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Tableau (or equivalent)
  • Ability to understand and translate high-level strategy into execution, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management and project management experience, with the ability to work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure success
  • Have passion for driving change across many teams
  • Ability to operate independently with conviction and the ability influence teams to the right levels of quality and delivery even under pressure
  • Outstanding presentation and written communication skills
  • Handle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to craft problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in payments, banking, or other financial services companies
  • Experience building budgets and forecasting for large scale customer facing products
  • Experience with multi-national product companies
  • Certification in project or change management is a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
