Apple is looking for an outstanding Display Panel Technologies EPM to help develop innovative displays to be adopted in award-winning Apple products. Panel Technologies EPMs must be confident organizers and excellent leaders multi-functionally with multiple teams throughout Apple as well as with external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedules, and be responsible for leading/communicating status and issues along the way. This position demands technical strengths in many areas, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing. We lead a large multi-functional team of highly skilled engineers, so having a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, the ability to see around corners, and a passion for solving undefined problems are essential to have. As a part of the display development team, you will have the opportunity to develop new display panels from the proof-of-concept stage to mass production. Description

The Display Panel Technologies EPM team is responsible for defining project plans, schedules, and driving project execution. We lead internal and external multi-functional teams in engineering and validation activities, as well as identifying and resolving conflicts, inter-dependencies, and program issues promptly and effectively. As a team member, you will ensure seamless coordination and communication among all teams. Additionally, you will lead development budgets and engineering builds. We are seeking a candidate that will demonstrate exceptional independent work skills with minimal supervision, actively contribute to strategic planning, adhere to schedules, and efficiently manage project status and issues!

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Physics/Chemistry/EE/Chemical Engineering/Material Science or equivalent, and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in flat panel display (LCD/OLED) or thin film device(Semiconductor/Solar) design and/or process development and/or process integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background, with experience working in a fast paced environment with various cross functional teams
  • Self-motivated with hands-on engineering skills and quick to learn new things
  • Strong presentation and communication skills required.
  • Understand and communicate complex, technical/Engineering issues.
  • Experience working with off-shore suppliers and manufacturers
  • A working understanding of high volume manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge and Experience with thin film processes (deposition/etch/characterization) and integration
  • Experience in TFT design or process is a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
