Description

The Director of Analyst Relations is a highly creative communicator who can establish and maintain lasting relationships with industry analysts and other experts covering Apple and the broader technology space. You will be able to distill the differentiating qualities and user benefits of Apple's hardware, software, services, chips, and other hardware technologies to key stakeholders. Working cross functionally with colleagues in Product Marketing, Market Insights, Hardware Technologies, engineering, and more, you will engage with analyst firms writing and speaking about Apple, review their reports, and ensure they are briefed and kept up-to-date on all things Apple. Responsibilities also include the planning and execution of analyst events, supporting major product launches, momentum activities, writing and developing thoughtful communications and materials, organizing and staffing events and analyst briefings, and identifying and managing issues in a continuous news cycle. You should have a keen ability to prioritize, focus, and simplify key priorities and opportunities, executing projects with a relentless attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years experience in public relations or analyst relations roles, in either an agency or corporate setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience effectively communicating the intricacies of products, services, silicon chips, corporate values, earnings news, and all manner of market positioning.
  • Strong analyst and influencer contacts and a proven track record of leading events, briefings, and creating new relationships with large and boutique analyst firms.
  • Creative mindset that finds new ways to tell compelling narratives, drawing from past experience to effectively convey technically-rich information.
  • Experience managing launches/events and momentum analyst programs.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across product marketing, engineering, and other internal stakeholder teams, going deep into market details.
  • Strong organizational skills - the ability to focus and simplify tasks while managing multiple projects and programs from start to finish.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, able to find the story hidden in the data.
  • Ability to quickly analyze analyst reports and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team's work.
  • Effective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $255,400 and $408,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
