Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Architect and build end-to-end data pipelines and design semantic and analytics data models for People Systems in various functional areas - Recruiting, Headcount Planning, ServiceNow, etc. Possess deep technical expertise with data engineering skills as well as data modeling and analytics design concepts. Responsible for designing, developing and scaling Apple's people analytics data models on cloud that provide efficient analytical and reporting capabilities. Develop highly scalable data pipelines to load data from various source systems, use python and dbt to ingest and transform your data and manage orchestration and scheduling of your workflows. Build reusable data validation and alerting frameworks. Integrate and stitch data across various domains and create analytical data sets for reporting consumption. Fine-tune and optimize SQL and data models code for performance. Engage and collaborate with developers and system architects to understand systems, processes, data and be responsible to translate complex business requirements into scalable and performant analytical data models that support stakeholder requirements. Directly support analytics for recruiting, workforce management, candidate and employee surveys, compensation, benefits, employee services and other areas. Define strategies and semantic data models for centralizing data from new People systems. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,500 - $293,800/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- SQL
- Python
- Databases: Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL
- Cloud Data Architecture and Design
- Data Warehousing / Data Lake Implementation and Methodologies - ETL Frameworks
- Development Tools: Github, Airflow
- Data Extraction: REST API / JSON
