Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Ensure the quality of an IP or subsystem. Review design and architecture specifications and work closely with micro-architecture teams. Understand the functional and performance goals of the design and use this knowledge to test effectively. Develop test plans, tests, and coverage plans and define Apple's next-generation verification methodology test benches. Communicate and collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to understand the use cases, corner conditions, and driving test cases. Run and triage regressions, track bugs, and analyze coverage to achieve top results. Apply knowledge of CPU & SOC architecture & design and knowledge of verification flow. Apply knowledge of of industry standard interfaces, and use Verilog, Verilog simulator and debugging. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience and/or education with each of the following:
  • Knowledge of object-oriented methodology for test bench development.
  • Designing and debugging scripts using Perl and Python for regression management
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM for test-bench development
  • Using Verilog for RTL design and debugging.
  • Utilizing simulators Xcelium to exercise the design under test.
  • Utilizing Computer Architecture for the SoC functioning and design understanding
  • Knowledge of low level languages like C/C++ to develop and debug test environment.
