Apple's CoreOS organization is seeking a highly motivated test engineer to join the Core Darwin QA team. We recognize that the quality of our software is only as good as that of our testing. Key Qualifications

  • Understanding of software development workflows and standard methodologies

Description

Your responsibilities will include developing a good understanding of ongoing development efforts across the operating systems teams; working alongside OS developers to create and implement comprehensive test plans during feature development; maintaining and extending automated test harnesses and infrastructures; writing automated tests for kernel and user space features; and generally enabling an increased quality and quantity of test coverage for various parts of the OS.

Education & Experience

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
