AMTs Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback, and APIs for third party developers to enrich our platforms. The team is looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about designing, building, and driving audio features and products for millions of customers and cares about overall user experience. This individual should be able to build/mentor a team of engineers and drive audio architecture/features from conception to delivery.

Key Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of both modern C++ and audio digital signal processing
- Understanding of developing and debugging multi-threaded software
- Technical understanding of audio technologies
- Proactive learning and a passion for learning new technologies
- Ability to coordinate with a team of engineers to drive audio features/architecture
Description
The candidate would interact with a team of DSP software engineers and other teams/organizations to enhance new audio architectures, provide software support for new hardware projects, debug DSP-related issues and drive for quality in terms of design and implementation.
Education & Experience
Master of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700.00 and $284,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
