The Channel XF Comms Manager will act as a key point of integration and accountability for Apple's communications initiatives supporting the Channel business unit, focused on hardware products, globally. In this role you will work to define go-to-market communications strategies, and collaborate and ensure alignment with key partners. You will oversee the cross-functional creation and flawless delivery of creative that inspires customers and propel's Apple's commerce globally. You will also forge deep relationships with key partners to collaboratively evolve what we do and how we do it.

Description
This role is a key connector across teams both within and outside of Marcom, allowing you to influence and lead many key channel global comms initiatives including New Product Introductions (NPI), always-on comms, and geo-led comms initiatives. You will lead and advocate for channel work, integrate teams across the company and ensure the work is delivered flawlessly in accordance with Apple standards. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Represent Channel and lead integration for the work: Understand Channel goals within Marcom and advocate across the company. Proactively partner with all Marcom teams, product marketing and sales teams to build deep relationships that enable you to educate teams on the channel landscape and significance of channel initiatives, as well as ensure ongoing alignment of deliverables from brief to execution. - Define and drive the Channel Roadmap and Strategy: Synthesize inputs and facilitate alignment on briefs, strategies and other Marcom creative deliverables. Be accountable for developing strategic project plans and bringing together the right collaborative team to drive initiatives forward. - Own the work, ensuring it is tracked, detailed, and timely: This role looks around corners to steer the team throughout the creative process, ensuring ongoing alignment of deliverables with timely delivery. Own day-to-day responsibilities which include status documents, Plan of Records, meeting invites and deliverable trackers to ensure detailed and timely project delivery. - Proactively seek insights and opportunities to evolve the work: Partner directly with geo and business leads to understand business and operational drivers, and to better inform creative considerations. Identify new ways of working and evolve Marcom outputs as the marketing roadmap, channel/partner landscape, and marketing strategies and deliverables evolve.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years marketing communications experience at an advertising, marketing, or design agency; and/or in-house marketing communications team
- Brand or marketing communications experience, from strategy to execution
- Client-facing or stakeholder management experience (such as account director, producer, or in-house marketing management roles)
- Experience encompassing Marketing Communications disciplines, including digital, print, and product merchandising

- Understands customer behavior throughout the awareness to post-purchase journey; pulls insights from relevant partners in order to enhance work from a customer point of view
- Adept at working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, and effective in working autonomously and under pressure
- Ability to make effective decisions with limited information and execute those decisions quickly
- Expert ability to lead project teams and to guide, evaluate, and redirect work
- Experience in delivering and representing integrated marketing initiatives that encompass a broad range of marketing/messaging formats and deliverables
- Ability to balance working in a creatively driven organization with an integrated, analytical, and disciplined approach to marketing
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills and can communicate effectively with a broad range of collaborators, including leadership
- Proactive, organized, resourceful, efficient, adaptable, and can solve complex problems with a positive attitude
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
