Administrative support to Caffè Macs and Catering Team has challenges for you to complete including special projects that could include more complex specialties such as accounting, purchasing, catering, event planning, menu development, vendor relationship, account reconciliation, maintenance of forms and documentation.

Description

A Catering Admin's daily routing involves managing a significant number of incoming emails. You will sort and prioritize these emails based on urgency and subject matter. Other tasks may include resolving customer issues and providing information about the department's policies, services, and menus. You'll also maintain our internal tracking documents, updating information, and preparing menus for final presentation. The Catering Admin will connect daily with Catering Managers, Supervisors, and Chefs on upcoming events, menus, special projects, and requests. You will order supplies through approved vendors, including our in-house commissary, handle requests for information and data, process charges to department cost centers, and support the completion of the quarterly charge-back report. While you will provide general clerical duties, we all need to understand the jobs of those you support and correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. We also all maintain the highest standards of conduct and confidentiality. We want you to continually grow, too, in knowledge of food and beverage as well as learning about our customers. The Catering Admin always lives up to company standards for speed, quality, consistency, and training with a focus on a high level of customer service. Minimum Qualifications

  • ServSafe Certified: Basic level knowledge of health and safety rules
  • Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English
  • Knowledgeable in aspects of food service and catering
  • You have excellent customer service skills, displayed in your experience in food, hospitality, or other service industries.
  • You need to lift up to 30 pounds in the caffé.

Preferred Qualifications

  • We are also looking for people with strong attention to detail and are well organized.
  • You demonstrate phenomenal time management.
  • Communication skills are essential for this role in order to champion a healthy team environment and to interact with guests, leaders, vendors, and employees.
  • You should have great computer skills and demonstrate them with communication tools, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Are you adaptable to sudden changes in plans and directions? We will love having you on the team!
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • We look for those with two to four years of administrative experience, but you can just arrive with your service attitude
  • You will spend time sitting, standing, and walking throughout our caffés.
  • We thrive in our fast-paced work environment and look for people who love this,
  • too.

  • You will have environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water in our kitchens and restaurants.
  • You can understand sanitation directions and help others to do the same.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $27.75 and $35.70/hr, and most new hires start at $27.75. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
