As a key member of our outstanding CAD Group, you will be part of building innovative designs. We will utilize your hands-on experience in power EM/IR analysis to define, develop and refine the methodologies and flows which enable transistor-level as well as gate level. Major tasks will include functional static / dynamic IR analysis, scan mode IVD analysis, package model handling, power EM analysis, SigEM, power switch modeling, design abstraction and reuse for EM/IR purposes, IP / SoC level EMIR sign-off / ECO, and much more.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in circuit design flows and/or related CAD/automation support areas involving various technology nodes and tape-outs.
  • Experience in developing EM and IR related flows and automation for better accuracy and efficient runs.
  • Knowledge in EMIR analysis tools and on their working principles and methods.
  • Familiar with custom design environment and flows, such as schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, physical verification and timing analysis.
  • Experience in supporting design teams with ramping the work environment, correct settings and reliable runs.
  • Experienced in working directly with the tool vendors, and drive them to resolve tools bugs as well as implement required improvements
  • Ability to provide automations for rapid and dynamic design needs.
  • Strong writing/verbal communication skills are excellent, and like the rest of us at Apple you love working in open and multi-cultural environment.

Description

-In this highly visible role, your primary responsibilities will include development of custom EM/IR solutions which scale with accuracy and capacity challenges. -You are going to focus on supporting/enhancing the EM/IR flow as well as the opportunity to grow into the discipline -You will have shared relationships with various design groups (Physical-design and integration, Circuit-design / Power / Technology) on their EM/IR requirements for various post layout flows -You will work side by side with vendors for tool qualification and debug.

Education & Experience

Minimum requirement of BS+ 3 years of relevant industry experience.
