Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Provide technical production support for Apple's finance systems, financial close operational support and master data management. Engage with finance users and partner with Information systems and technology teams to identify root cause and resolve issues related to SAP ECC and other finance systems. Partner with users and internal teams to manage end-to-end enhancement request process. Support monthly financial close, including on-call systems support and other recurring close activities. Define and execute on strategic direction to globally standardize and document Global Finance Support Center process and procedures, including operational metrics and reporting. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within process areas to drive scale and efficiency. Provide SAP consultation and training to finance users whenever technical inputs are required on key Finance/Sales and Distribution/Material Management processes in projects and operations. Perform system administration function for several finance systems in compliance with documented policy and Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Analyze operational metrics and proactively identify and implement initiatives to reduce the number of inquiries. Maintain close engagement with finance, business, and technology teams to understand new process and system changes. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree* or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept 3 or 4 year Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience with the following skills is required:
  • Using system design, configuration, enhancement, upgrade and support of large SAP ECC landscape
  • Performing SAP FI/SD and FI/MM integration
  • Conducting SAP FICO consulting and troubleshooting of system issues including SAP TDMs, Portal applications, interfaces and iDocs
  • Knowledge of Business Requirements Analysis including mapping with global processes and aligning with client's best practices, influence and interact with global SAP Teams
  • Functional specifications preparation for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, Enhancements and Forms (RICEF) developments
  • Conducting test case preparation including preparation of contingency plan, support, Migration plan
  • Utilizing Technologies/Platform including SAP Financial Accounting, SAP Controlling, SAP Treasury, SAP Project systems, SAP Materials Management and SAP Sales and Distribution
  • Utilizing incident management tools including Central Station/HelpCentral and Radar
