Description
The Audio Algorithms team is seeking a highly skilled engineering manager to advance speech, audio and hearing health technologies at Apple. As a key leader on the team, you will enable all users, including users with hearing loss to have better in-person conversations using Apple products. This role is responsible for setting and executing a speech enhancement and hearing health roadmap, managing a group of talented developers and work across teams at Apple to integrate your ideas into products. Help build future technologies that impact billions of Apple customers!
Minimum Qualifications
- Research experience in audio algorithm development using signal processing and machine learning (released product features, patents, papers, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with developing algorithms from initial concept to shipping solution
- Management experience in leading a team of algorithm developers
- Skilled in setting and executing a customer focused technology roadmap
- Ability to drive results in a dynamic and highly cross functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise on speech enhancement, source separation and hearing loss compensation technologies
- 10+ years proven experience in engineering management
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
