Description

We are seeking an Anti-Money Laundering Investigations Supervisor to join our Financial Services Compliance team for Apple Payments Inc. In this role you will: Assist in the ongoing development, implementation and assessment of Apple financial services anti-money laundering programs Ensure that Apple financial services products and procedures comply with existing and developing laws and regulations Provide people management and development responsibilities and ensure team service level standards are met Serves as a point of contact along with the BSA AML Officer for internal and external exams and pulling of reports and data needed for the reviews Help maintain financial licenses and registrations, as required Manage, execute, and update the Policies and Procedures when necessary Partner with other Apple teams to handle compliance risk Monitor and act upon compliance-related queue alerts relating to AML, OFAC, Sanctions or negative news Investigate and report potentially suspicious activity File Suspicious Activity Reports with FinCEN Maintain knowledge of AML red flags and industry trends Work cross-functionally with other teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Compliance / AML or Fraud Investigations experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or relevant AML, Bank Secrecy Act ("BSA") and OFAC regulations, along with experience implementing and administering those requirements
  • Understanding of the U.S. payments regulatory landscape
  • Previous experience in managing compliance/AML or Fraud Investigation teams with a financial institution or payment-focused company
  • Experience conducting AML investigations and filing Suspicious Activity Reports with FinCEN
  • Experience reviewing OFAC and Sanctions alerts
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to a given problem
  • Inquisitiveness and a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
  • Ability to self-manage workflow across competing priorities
  • Ability to work closely and build trust with broad cross-functional groups
