The individual will focus on Supply/Demand analytics and will be responsible for presenting their analysis to Senior/Exec management. Key Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years' Operations experience, preferably in a high tech or computer-related industry
  • Prior experience leading a team, product planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain management
  • Deep working knowledge of best-in-class supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy
  • Ability to exert thoughtful influence in a matrixed organization
  • Extraordinary manager, teammate and communicator
  • Comfortable presenting to senior/executive management
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of ease working with numbers
  • Ability to recognize, attract and develop top talent

Description

In this role, you will be the focal point for the development of supply demand strategies that support Apple's quarterly financial revenue plans, achieve aggressive inventory goals, and maximize Retail service level. You will with internal partners to match supply with demand, working closely with Merchandising, Logistics, SDM and Regional/WW teams. You have strong business insight and excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills. • Lead a team of Planners responsible for building and achieving weekly product availability plans that support retail weekly sell-through while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. • Work cross functionally within overall AMR Operations to deliver higher results for our customers. • Present product updates to senior management on a daily/weekly basis, providing insight on opportunities, challenges and key decisions. • Train and develop a team capable of meeting the challenges of Apple's rapidly changing environment. • Be an active participant in new product transition planning and ensuring smooth product transitions. • Drive alignment of supply & demand plans with SDM, Merchants, Logistics and Worldwide Retail Fulfillment Operations. • Coordinate closely with the Logistics teams to ensure Retail strategies are implemented & we are continually improving the supply chain to our Retail Stores. • Be the New Product Introduction (NPI) and End of Life (EOL) champion for Retail within Americas (AMR) Operations

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree. MBA/Masters' degree in a related field is preferred.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,800.00 and $206,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
