Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development experience working in the industry, having shipped & operated multiple products/services
  • Experience building scalable micro-services
  • Experience with Object oriented programming languages like Java / Python
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka or similar technologies
  • Experience working in large cross-functional projects
  • Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
  • Experience with mentoring junior engineers and defining/driving best practices for technical design, code reviews, etc.
  • Experience with Javascript and UI frameworks/libraries like React, Ember, Angular, D3 is a plus

Description

You will be responsible for designing, implementing features & building platforms to enable on-device and device/server side combined ML workflows. For example, build service to rollout / rollback experiments to billions of devices in just few hours, build highly scalable systems to process billions of events daily. You will be responsible for setting technical direction for the team, driving engineering quality for the platforms and providing mentorship to junior engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, customers and the team to build platform roadmap for next 2-3 years.

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with Machine Learning platforms is a plus
  • Experience with A/B Testing is a plus

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
