3D Production Manager, Development
Marcom is the creatively led global team that oversees Apple's consumer-facing marketing. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging, and inspiring marketing experiences. 3D Visual Merchandising (3DVM) is responsible for the creation of Apple-branded experiences deployed around the world in retail stores, channel environments, and corporate events. Projects teams are assembled with representation from three distinct teams within 3DVM: Design, Producer, and Production. Each is responsible for delivering expertise in their respective areas.
Description
The 3D Production Manager, Development, is responsible for the translation of design intent into fully realized 3D programs or elements. This role manages the development process, including planning, budgeting, supplier management, drawing reviews, production reviews and presentation delivery. This role requires travel internationally and domestically.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead multiple projects simultaneously, conduct reviews, manage budgeting, adhere to timelines, and provide status updates. Execute against project strategy and negotiate project shifts with a flexible, innovative, and strategic approach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge positive relationships with Creative, Producers, Operations, Finance, Corporate Procurement, Legal, and Production teams. Act as a key liaison with internal and external partners, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project objectives, and successful project outcomes.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Engage with our suppliers and agencies, leading development, production reviews, installation logistics, and maintaining relationships to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Problem-Solving: Drive innovative approaches to 3DVM deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing challenges with creative, strategic thinking.

Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in events, exhibition, and/or retail fixture development and production.
- Experience in strategic project management within, not limited to, a design agency, architecture firm, or in-house studio.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of production methods, architectural and engineering drawings, along with sophisticated knowledge of project management tools, fixture development standards, and construction practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead project teams, handle cross-functional collaboration, and coordinate and drive project success.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with collaborators at peer and manager levels.
- Strong eye for quality, technical details, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions and optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
- BA or BS degree preferred, or relevant experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
