The Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager plays a key role in the management and execution of AppFolio’s customer marketing strategy and programs for downmarket sold services to current customers. This role will partner closely with sales, services, and product marketing teams to drive overachievement of our value plus product sales targets, including target segments, enablement, and performance visibility.

Your impact 
  • Develop and strengthen the sales & marketing collaboration to deliver higher performance and quicker GTM efforts for downmarket customers.
  • Execute customer engagement programs & experiences that feel like service, increasing engagement and demand for our add-on sold services.
  • Build out strategic quarterly programs to support targeted sales goals, utilizing our various marketing channels (email, webinars, direct mail, events, in-app).
  • Utilize customer segmentation and analytics to personalize marketing efforts and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with sales enablement and create collateral for sales readiness.
  • Actively track and analyze the performance of campaigns dedicated to driving our sold services downmarket. 
  • Coordinate with the creative team to produce compelling marketing materials and collateral that support campaign goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure AppFolio’s customer marketing strategies remain innovative and effective.
  • Share performance and strategy with cross-functional stakeholders in Monthly Business Review meetings.

 

Qualifications 
  • Experience working at a B2B technology company, preferably a SaaS company.
  • Experience developing and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns, from strategy and planning to launch and performance analysis.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to navigate and influence discussions with senior leaders.
  • A keen attention to detail with a commitment to ensuring customer content is of the highest quality and is aligned with our brand standards.
  • Experience using Project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Monday) to keep projects on track and ensure they are completed on time.
  • A passion for creating seamless customer experiences that inspire loyalty and additional business growth opportunities.

 

Must have
  • 8+ years of experience in acquisition or customer marketing campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of marketing channels, audience segmentation, and tactics to leverage in account-based initiatives.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, Quip, or similar tools.
  • Quarterly travel to the office hub and regional events. 

 

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $104,000 to $130,000 [base pay]. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
Please note that compensation is just one aspect of a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The compensation range listed here does not include additional benefits or any discretionary bonuses you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
