What we’re looking for
A Senior Data Analyst to provide thought leadership and be a key partner in driving business decisions by translating complex business questions into actionable insights. You will be a key partner in helping achieve revenue goals in our Growth services as well as creating a best in class experience for customers. You'll work on a wide range of projects, from creating dashboards and ad-hoc analyses to leading major analytical initiatives. You should be a proactive problem-solver with a knack for collaborating with stakeholders and a commitment to data-driven outcomes.
Your Impact
- Lead Analytical Projects: You'll independently own and lead team projects, from initial planning and scoping to implementation and ongoing maintenance. You'll proactively pursue data-backed business opportunities and execute complex analyses using appropriate methods like regression and segmentation
- Develop Data Solutions: Design and build advanced, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that integrate multiple data sources. You'll create reusable SQL components, DBT models, and build scalable data workflows, working with engineers when needed. You'll also write performant and reusable Python code for deep dives and automation.
- Develop Forecasts and Scenario Modeling: You'll build and maintain forecasting and scenario models that provide a clear picture of what is happening in the business and why. Your work will directly inform budgeting and strategy by helping leaders understand the drivers behind performance and quantify the potential impact of new initiatives or product changes.
- Provide Strategic Insights: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations that align with broader business objectives. You'll articulate trade-offs and ensure project goals are on track.
- Improve Data Practices: Propose improvements to data models and help enforce metric consistency across your domain. You'll use your expertise in data querying and transformation, including using DBT, indexes, and CTEs, to optimize query performance and manage costs. You will also act as a champion for best practices in SQL performance and reusability.
- Drive Decision-Making: Lead discussions that result in well-informed technical, product, and process decisions. You'll effectively communicate complex findings to diverse audiences and ensure alignment on project direction.

Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership & Communication: You're a persuasive and influential partner to stakeholders across various functions. You can tailor your communication to different audiences and present findings clearly and concisely. You have strong business acumen and can apply your understanding of key business challenges to identify creative ways to use data science to solve them, effectively connecting data to tangible business outcomes. You're an active listener who builds trust and fosters a collaborative environment.
- Data Analysis: You have a complete understanding of data analysis core concepts and practices. You can translate unstructured business questions into analytical projects, define metrics, and conduct in-depth ad-hoc analyses.
- Technical Proficiency: You have expertise in developing and using tools for data analysis. You are highly skilled in SQL and Python and fluent in using Tableau to design and build complex dashboards. You're comfortable with version control using Git/GitHub.
- Problem-Solving: You can identify and solve the root causes of problems, not just the symptoms. You're proactive in anticipating challenges and designing adaptable solutions.
- Project Ownership: You can independently scope and execute work, demonstrating ownership of projects from start to finish. You're capable of managing your time and priorities to achieve predictable delivery.
Must have
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in a Data Analytics role.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, and Tableau. Demonstrated experience in translating complex business questions into structured analytical projects and executing them independently.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and present findings to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: A track record of identifying root causes and designing adaptive, data-driven solutions.
- Strategic Acumen: The ability to connect data insights to broader business strategies and organizational goals.
- Forecasting: Professional experience creating and presenting financial forecasts and scenario modeling using spreadsheets, SQL, and BI solutions.
Nice to have
- Technical Proficiency: Professional advanced experience using DBT, Git workflows, Snowflake, streamlit, redash, JIRA, coda, and google workspaces (sheets, docs, slides).
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $104,000 - $130,000. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
