Onboarding Manager I - AppFolio Investment Manager

The Onboarding Manager I owns the customer relationship throughout their transition to AppFolio Investment Manager. They serve as the primary point of contact and product/industry expert, ensuring an efficient and effective onboarding experience. They work collaboratively and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders to position their customers for long-term success.
Your Impact
Manage customer projects from initial kickoff through data migration, working in tandem with your Data Migration Specialist to ensure quick customer time to value.
Be a subject matter expert on the core AppFolio Investment Manager platform and the private equity real estate industry.
Lead in-depth product training, maximizing customer knowledge and engagement.
Partner effectively with Sales, Product, and Services to ensure smooth transitions, set proper expectations, and collaboratively share customer feedback.
Use every point of customer contact as an opportunity to convey professionalism, subject matter expertise, and industry/product knowledge.
Analyze current processes and identify automation or process improvement opportunities.
Develop strong customer relationships to create promoters and build the foundation for long-term partnerships.
Mentor new team members to help them feel comfortable and welcomed to the team.
Qualifications
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to effectively balance competing priorities.
Analytical capabilities for advanced problem solving and the ability to find creative solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong curiosity and desire to learn.
Capacity to be flexible and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Must Haves
2-3 years of project management experience, preferably in real estate technology.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Real estate, finance, and/or investment management knowledge preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Google Suite/Gemini preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $58,400 - $73,000 annually.
The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
