Senior Sourcing Specialist (Hybrid)
As the Senior Sourcing Specialist with American Family Insurance you will define scope and strategy for medium to high complexity sourcing events. Identify sourcing opportunities based on spend, value opportunity, risk and resource availability. Present proposed goals, strategy and project plan to partners and sponsors, obtains approvals and aligns sponsorship and resources needed to move project into active execution. Lead cross functional teams to successful outcomes.
This role will support underwriting products.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Vendor Management.

Position Compensation Range:
$78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Primary Accountabilities:
- Define scope and strategy for medium to high complexity sourcing events, identifying opportunities based on spend, value, risk, and resources. Present goals and align resources for project execution.
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, involving internal experts to achieve beneficial outcomes while supporting business goals.
- Be a subject matter expert for supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting partners from award to completion.
- Promote strategic sourcing value to management and internal customers, providing reports on spend, risks, and results.
- Build relationships with senior business leaders to understand and meet sourcing needs, serving as the main contact for sourcing.
- Lead the sourcing process for RFxs, renewals, and new contracts, overseeing project management and identifying process improvements.
- Use market intelligence and sourcing goals to evaluate competitive offerings, comparing supplier bids and assessing trade-offs.
- Experience in customer-driven solutions and support.
- Extensive knowledge of sourcing practices, including RFxs and contract negotiation.
- Understanding of supplier performance management and strategic sourcing processes.
- Experience leading medium to large projects with knowledge of project management and contract negotiation techniques.
- Ability to prepare reports, charts, and presentations, with experience in project management methodologies and tools.

In this hybrid role you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of our Madison, WI or Boston, MA offices.
