Senior Operational Excellence Specialist (Washington or Oregon) - Licensed (Primarily Home)

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirement

Position Compensation Range:
$68,000.00 - $113,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

• Delivers revenue generation and cost saving solutions while enhancing the customer and employee experience in a systematic, timely, transparent, and measurable manner.
• Consistently unearth innovative solutions and implement them by leveraging process, people, and technology.
• Deliver solutions which leverage ongoing business process management and operational excellence to enable continuous improvement.

• Identifies and implements process improvements and process excellence programs across the various aspects of people, process, metrics, and technology to achieve measurable impacts to performance.
• Analyzes results to identify opportunities and quantify impacts to the business.
• Evaluates current processes to identify excess waste and ensure that every process is a value add.
• Uses continuous improvement methodologies to map current state processes and value streams.
• Establish feedback loops that utilize available quantitative and qualitative data to drive initiatives.
• Leverages proper project management frameworks to plan, organize and coordinate the operational excellence efforts including but not limited to resource management both of immediate team members as well as cross-functional resources.
• Acts as a change agent by focusing on organizational effectiveness, improvement and development in the spirit of promoting success.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with and influencing change in others.
• Demonstrated relationship building and communication with all levels of leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading large complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience in process mapping and workflows.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of lean process methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated experience leading and facilitating small groups.
• Demonstrated experience developing policies, practices, and procedures.

Licenses
• Required to maintain current, active Property/Casualty/Life license(s) status by continuing education and meeting all state, operating and regulatory requirements.

Travel Requirements
• Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements
• Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

In this primarily field-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working in the field, directly interacting with customers, Agents, Agency Staff, etc. On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
