You will develop, plans, and oversee the execution of internal audit programs for us to ensure compliance with best practices and our policies, procedures and standards. Prepare reports for management on the results of engagements, providing recommendations on improvements. You will develop risk-based audit plans and oversight of Internal Auditors as they implement strategic, financial, operational, legal/regulatory and IT audit and consulting engagements.
You will report to the IT Internal Audit Director in Madison, WI.
Position Compensation Range:
$97,000.00 - $164,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
- Create an work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear goals, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications.
- Complete internal audit's periodic risk assessment by identifying major risk areas throughout the company.
- Develop and oversee execution of risk-based audit plans.
- Provide monitoring of Internal Audit plans.
- Ensure that work is completed following internal auditing standards (IPPF) and organizational procedures.
- Identify, plan, and implement continuous improvements to Internal Audit processes.
- Lead with influence and expertise.
- Contribute to division or department leadership team.
- Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values and policies.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading large complex projects.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of governance structures and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of internal auditing standards, SOX, COSO and/or other risk assessment practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of the technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills
Preferred Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- IT Audit experience is preferred.
