Senior Manager, Engineering (Primarily Home)
You will oversee the successful definition and delivery of software solutions to end-user clients to meet our needs. You will lead Salesforce teams and programs and using Salesforce capabilities to enhance business processes and client satisfaction. Manage relationships with multiple partners; assemble and manage a team required to complete client work; define implementation plans, effort, and cost; manage risks and problems, assess the quality of the work and ensures the final product meets client expectations.
Position Compensation Range:
$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
• Salesforce Leadership: Lead the strategic execution of AmFam's Salesforce implementation, Relate, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing the platform's potential to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with multiple business stakeholders, including Salesforce users and administrators, to understand their needs and translate them into solutions.
• Cross-Functional Team Management: Assemble and manage a cross-functional team, including Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts, required to complete client requests.
• Leadership of Salesforce DevOps via Capado
• Oversight of a Salesforce Admin & Security team
• Project Planning and Execution: Define implementation plans, effort, and cost for Salesforce projects, ensuring delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Play an active role in PI Planning events with partners and delivery teams.
• Oversees the development of product roadmaps and backlogs that are prioritized based on short-term and long-term value delivery.
• Drives product development towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, resource utilization, and technical feasibility.
• Manages the performance and availability with minimal downtime/disruption of cloud vendor and internally provided services.
• Ability to align Salesforce initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Vision to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Coordinates with internal/external project team in leading cloud and end user service delivery implementation plans and ensures completion of projects and within budget.
• Creates a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
• Leads with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values and policies.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts.
• Ability to foster collaboration and communication within the team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as are strong diplomatic skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups.
• Analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions within Salesforce implementations.
• Ability to manage risks and troubleshoot problems proactively
Not required but desired skills:
o Experience supporting a CRM
o Experience supporting large SAAS applications
o Understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
o Proficiency in Salesforce customization, configuration, and integration.
o Knowledge of Salesforce development tools o Familiarity with data management and migration within Salesforce.
