Senior Community & Social Impact Specialist (Hybrid)

As a Senior Community & Social Impact Specialist with American Family Insurance you will lead and coordinate impactful strategic partnerships that promote our social impact vision-including internal initiatives, charitable giving, strategic sponsorships, and social impact investing. Act as the primary liaison between external partners and our teams to authentically represent our community efforts.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Community & Social Impact.

Position Compensation Range:
$78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external community, nonprofit, and organizational leaders; may serve as lead contact.
  • Support delivery of communications highlighting community and social impact priorities, including storytelling via communications and social media.
  • Develop and oversee program initiatives aligned with departmental and company goals.
  • Contribute to annual strategic goal-setting for the department.
  • Helps develop the team/department budget.
  • Represent us at community events.
  • Present business cases to key stakeholders.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Ability to manage external relationships with key stakeholders of partner organizations to communicate needs, solve issues and create synergies.
  • Demonstrate and manage new business and/or multi-line product opportunities with existing partners, understanding partner's business models and objectives to align with the organization's key drivers to create win-win partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a strong organizational network using understanding of partner organization structures to quickly navigate to the right people and teams, in order to make decisions and build the brand and the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build key account plans and business metrics to analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast strategic changes and key success measures
  • Ability to create and manage company profiles and competitive analysis of partners.

In this hybrid role you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of our Madison, WI location.
