The Global Accounts Receivable organization is looking for a driven, dynamic, forward-thinking, and talented professional to fill the Senior Manager - Data Product Management position.You will join the data office to help drive the data literacy and collaborate with business and technology partners to shape the data management roadmap. You will be the subject matter expert of the data produced and exchanged by our platforms and accountable for the entire data lifecycle management.

Our data office is a fun and data-driven team delivering the data strategy and data products for core enterprise platforms capabilities. Through a close partnership with the Enterprise Data Governance & Management team and other federated data offices, we aim to ensure best-in-class data management and accelerate platform modernization and business intiatives while mitigating data risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional sessions with various business units, architecture, product and engineering teams to understand their data needs, provide data expertise, create data requirements to establish trusted sources of truth, maintain compliance with evolving regulations and deliver a strong data management framework
  • Partner with teams to classify data, maintain data definitions, identify critical and sensitive data for core capabilities, support data sourcing /usage requests, define data quality controls and scorecards, provide resources to solve data issues, and drive consistency, standardization, usability, and change management of data products and data capabilities
  • Proactively define and document Business and Technical Metadata, data lineage, data flow and numerous data management artifacts
  • Responsible for the communication related to changes impacting the produced/consumed data
  • Investigate, catalog, organize, document internal and external application and system data
  • Adopt leading technologies to enable the data inventory, classification, lineage, integration, metadata repository as well as define standards, facilitate continuous improvements and provide high quality data to support the business and platform capabilities
  • Develop data retention frameworks, advocate for data usability improvements, and facilitate resolution of blockers and issues related to the entire data lifecycle
  • Own key stakeholder relationships across data offices, internal and enterprise teams

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of direct work experience in large scale/enterprise data projects, with at least 3 years of direct experience relating to creation and execution of formal data governance and/or data management programs and Metadata Management
  • Demonstrable experience of driving meaningful improvements in business value through data management and strategy
  • Strong experience in metadata management, knowledge of data standards, data cataloguing, tagging, lineage and delivering operational data products in flexible data management frameworks
  • Proven track record of understanding business challenges and strategies, connecting those to data and capabilities, recognize and diagnose data quality issues
  • Strong working knowledge of current and upcoming data governance, data management, data lifecycle management and data product techniques and trends, with a point of view on the evolving concepts and best practices
  • Knowledge of private and sensitive data protections, regulatory compliance and data privacy regulations
  • Experience in designing and managing databases
  • Working knowledge of Global AR data sources and systems, with hands-on experience solving data and process related problems, is a plus
  • High-caliber leadership and communication skills delivering key messages and updates across a diverse, large, global set of business units, stakeholders and senior leaders
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability
  • Ability to put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders.
  • Experience with Agile project methodology and tools such as Rally/Jira
  • Be passionate and innovative about data
  • Demonstrated learning agility, ability to make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
