The Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS) business provides exclusive access, differentiated value, extraordinary service, and unrivaled expertise to premium Card Members seeking leisure or business travel, as well as a variety of lifestyle services. The TLS COE (Center of Excellence) is tasked with uniting the travel and lifestyle benefits and strategic travel partner relationships globally to create structured and focused plans towards advanced Card Member engagement with Amex travel benefits.

The Global Strategic Partnerships and Marketing (GPM) within TLS/American Express Travel brings together the best travel partners in the world to create unparalleled value and unforgettable experiences across the travel journey - and amplifies this to Card Members wherever they are.

Senior Analyst, Air & Lodging Loyalty Benefits, will be part of the Points, Status and Loyalty Innovation team within the Travel Benefit Strategy team in TLS' GPM. This team oversees 21+ relationships with Membership Rewards Points Transfer Airline and Hotel Partners, 4 Air and Hotel Status Benefits and plays a key role in evolving the strategy around innovation in Travel Loyalty Benefits.

Senior Analyst, Air & Lodging Loyalty Benefits role supports the broader Points, Status and Loyalty Innovation team with a remit consisting of three key pillars - Marketing, Operational Excellence and Benefit Execution - with a deep focus on loyalty benefits and partnerships in Travel. The Senior Analyst will be an integral member of the team supporting the management and growth of a portfolio of travel partnerships and benefits. The Senior Analyst, Air & Lodging Loyalty Benefits will immediately be responsible for leading Team Budget Management, Marketing Strategy, Coordination and Campaign Management, as well as Operational Excellence Due Diligence to ensure our benefits are best in class for our Card Members.

This individual will also support 4 Manager/Senior Manager colleagues on their portfolios of partnerships and benefits, with opportunity to take on full ownership of partnerships with time.

In addition, the role requires an individual who can navigate the Blue Box, drive results with a sense of urgency, and further the team's goal to put in market best in class customer experiences & partnership constructs.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Travel Membership Rewards and Status benefit Subject Matter Expert, and lead project management of dynamic projects
  • Own Day-to-Day internal and external partner relationship management for key air and hotel partner
  • Lead Marketing strategy and execution; marketing claims and terms creation and approval process, coordinating and liaising with key stakeholders across the organization to implement
  • Collaborate across multiple global cross-functional teams including but not limited to Card Product Management, Membership Rewards, New Product Development, Technology, ICS, Marketing, Operational Excellence, Legal, Compliance and Servicing
  • Oversee flawless execution of invoicing for key benefit partners
  • Own TLM relationship for key contracts and partners; support ad-hoc Compliance and audit related projects
  • Deliver ongoing analytics, insights and performance metrics and oversee and distribute benefit reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of working experience required
  • Proactive and growth mindset with an eagerness to challenge the status quo
  • Strategic thought leadership and efficient "connect the dots" mentality to deliver results in innovative ways
  • Great attention to detail and advanced project management skills while appropriately bringing key stakeholders along
  • Comfort in ambiguous and high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional oral and written communication with ability to tailor message depending on audience and seniority
  • Experience working across business units, markets, functions and executive levels
  • Positive team player that thrives in dynamic work environments
  • BA or BS required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with product and marketing teams preferred
  • Travel Industry experience a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
