Job summary
Amazon Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, which is available in over 200 countries and territories. Our teams are responsible for introducing distinctive, critically-claimed award-winning originals like Fleabag, Sound Of Metal and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and ground-breaking, popular series and movies like The Boys, Jack Ryan, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, One Night in Miami, Coming 2 America and more.

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our Studios Technology team in Culver, CA. The Studios Technology team focuses on creating technology tools and cloud-based infrastructure to automate, streamline and optimize processes and information workflows throughout the entire content creation lifecycle at Amazon Studios. In this role, you will participate in defining the tools that creative talent uses to produce Amazon Originals. In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll work on all aspects of UX design including information architecture, creative workflows, UI design, interaction design and prototyping deliverables. In this role you will work closely with other designers, user researchers, customers, product managers, software developers and executive leadership to drive designs from vision to execution and will also be a key part of a UX Design Studio collaborating across all aspects of the Amazon Studios tools. Key responsibilities
• Analyze customer problems and design delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals and adhere to country-specific requirements.
• Work closely with product teams to develop use cases and high-level requirements.
• Quickly, yet thoroughly, create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
• Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings.
• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.
• Present design work to the user experience team, product team and project stakeholders for review and feedback.
• Partner with development teams to build experiences: provide appropriate design specifications, create assets and review finished interfaces.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of design experience
• An available online portfolio

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience designing interfaces for web and mobile.
• Experience defining and executing user research methods appropriate to the questions at hand, including but not limited to field research, surveys, lab studies, remote testing, and A-B tests.
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and InVision.
• Skill in developing rapid UI prototypes.
• Experience working with distributed teams, across multiple time zones.
• Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent.
