What Will You Enjoy Doing
Continuous Improvement & Lean Initiatives
- Apply continuous improvement principles to ensure plant performance and adherence to ALPLA standards
- Execute and coordinate improvement projects and Kaizen workshops with support from the Regional OPEX team
- Design, execute, and evaluate Continuous Improvement (CI) initiative (NEXT) programs for local implementation
- Adjust and execute the NEXT communication campaign with regional support
- Leverage Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies to identify corrective actions and implement preventive actions for OPEX, Quality, and Safety topics
Systems & Tools Management
- Ensure correct usage of official tools, reports, and systems (e.g., 5S, APM2, CTO, CAQ, AlplaPROD, QDMS, CCH)
- Verify new tools and methods; support local process owners in implementation and sustainability
Training & Coaching
- Train local leaders on OPEX assessments
- Diagnose current operational conditions and moderate execution of improvements
- Create, review, and disseminate best practices across the region
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Support Quality Assurance programs, including execution of regional internal audits
- Ensure alignment with ALPLA standards and compliance frameworks
Travel & Site Support
- Must be located near an ALPLA facility
- Travel up to 60% to support plant-level initiatives and cross-site coordination
What Makes You Great
- BS - Engineering or STEM based discipline or equivalent work experience in a technical or operations based role
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Process analysis, supply chain, production, lean management, quality assurance and/or project management
Qualifications/Skills:
- Analytical; systemic thinking
- Systems experience (BPM, CTO, CAQ, QDMS, CCH, Office)
- Moderation and training
- Strong social and communication abilities
- Project management
- Lean management
- Leadership and personnel management (behavioural economics)
- Strong sense of personal accountability and ownership (entrepreneurial spirit)
- Certifications/Licenses: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred.

- Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization—approachable with frontline teams and confident in engaging and challenging plant leadership.
