Job Description
The Director, Principal Digital Product Manager will develop, lead and guide the digital product teams and roadmap with a focus on enabling and advancing our enterprise data strategy in alignment with Allstate's overall strategic objectives. This role is critical for ensuring processes and experiences are ready for the digital future-state and partner with the respective stakeholders to drive the necessary elimination, optimization and reengineering solutions. This position owns the vision and roadmap for advancing our data and analytics capabilities for a critical new platform in close concert with our rollout of new products and experiences. This includes employing contemporary technology to reimagine processes around data quality, data movement/management and end user analytics.

The preferred locations for this role is Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. Travel is required for in person meetings to live into Allstate's Leadership Connectivity standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enforce a digital mindset by pushing on service and experience optimization using the process of elimination, optimization, and reengineering
  • Define, drive, and own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring partnership with Principal Engineers and Principal Platform Consultants
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and continuous iteration based on user feedback
  • Leverage contemporary tools to enable seamless access to data by end-users, accelerating speed to insight and driving faster feedback loops
  • Establishes automated internal controls to ensure internal and external data quality
  • Tirelessly advocate for simplification within and across consumer journeys and processes
  • Drive delivery acceleration through reuse of capabilities and smarter, simpler ways to achieve outcomes on a consistent basis
  • Evangelize product capabilities and seek additional use cases for broader applicability across AORs and new business ventures
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define business requirements, success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Advocate for a customer-centric approach by deeply understanding user needs, pain points, and behaviors
  • Influence digital product strategy & backlogs across AORs in support of strategic priorities
  • Cultivate strategic mindset within AOR Digital Product Managers, empowering product teams to independently make decisions through a strategic lens

Qualifications:

  • Leadership of Product leaders and product teams across an Enterprise environment
  • Extensive experience leading large scale data strategies including data management, data quality and end user analytics/insights
  • Experience in the execution of AI tools to enable more contemporary approach to analytics (ex. Microsoft Fabric)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 12 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $185,000.00 - 249,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
